About Stephen J. Bowe

Steve brings over 12 years of compliance experience in the areas of consumer finance, collection, and ERISA regulation. Most recently, Steve was Director of Compliance for H&R Block, Inc. Additionally, he served as Vice President for JPMorgan/Chase Bank, serving as the Compliance Officer and Legal Counsel for Systems & Services Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of JPMC.

 As a Metavante Regulatory Services Compliance Officer, he was responsible for assisting clients by responding to client inquiries, reviewing client documents - including policies and procedures, disclosures, notices, and advertising materials - and providing training and consulting services.

 A member of the Missouri and Kansas bars since 1998, Steve attended Missouri Western State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Steve then went on to the University of Missouri where he earned three more degrees: a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance, a Juris Doctorate, and a Master of Law (Taxation).

A self-confessed “workaholic,” Steve also manages to spend time with his family of five boys and a loving wife. When not at one of his children’s sporting events, he is a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, regardless of their inability to win a playoff game since 1993.
